The reality is conveyancing is a legal minefield. Your friendly solicitor will give you clear, concise and relevant advice at all times and at no extra cost.
Our sole focus is YOU! We are a small boutique firm practicing in real estate law who don’t have hefty overheads to worry about like the bigger firms.
We do everything we can do to make the process stress free and easy so we work together with banks, mortgage brokers, accountants and real estate agents every step of the way.
Real Estate Law Practitioners
We are a boutique firm who practice real estate law. Although it seems quite straightforward, real estate law can be quite complex and trained solicitors have to consider issues such as contract terms and conditions, mortgages, SMSF deeds, covenants, easements, caveats, the type of property title, the type of tenancy, local council regulations and zoning to name just a few. That’s why we don’t call ourselves conveyancers because conveyancers are not solicitors and conveyancing is the area of property law that deals with the actual transfer of real estate between sellers and buyers which is only one small part of the whole transaction.
House Buying Tip: Check building plans for the neighbourhood
Shortly after John and Jennifer moved into their home, they learned that a large playground was going to be built in the community — right next door to them. Since the homeowners have no children, they get to hear the squeaky sound of swings all day, but they don’t benefit from having a playground so close by. Plus, having a playground practically in the backyard is hit or miss when it comes to resale — buyers with kids may see it as a selling point, while others may not. Before buying a home, find out if there are any building plans near your home to avoid surprises after you’ve moved in.
