She then returned to Australia where she sought to utilise her new law degree and did so at Qld Law Group as Practice Manager/Law Clerk for the property and estates division. Nadine then secured an opportunity at Rio Tinto, a leading global mining and metals company in Perth, Western Australia, where she negotiated and drafted procurement contracts up to a total value of a $100 million for the provision of goods and services to the Iron Ore division. She then acted as the Regional Lead managing the development and implementation of a contractor management project at over 26 sites, effecting over 13,000 end-users transacting over $3.5 billion of annual spend.
Nadine worked at Broad & Cassel, West Palm Beach in Florida for several weeks as part of the LAW junior lawyer exchange program. The purpose of her visit was to expose her to the practice of law in the United States and the differences between the practice of law in Australia and the U.S.
Nadine, as a lawyer, returned to practice at Qld Law Group as a construction lawyer under Principal Steven Johnson. She then worked in boutique construction law practice and most recently at Clayton Utz, a leading Australia law firm, also as a construction lawyer.
